Our Managing Director, Dr Tim Riding, brings over 40 years of experience in his field, offering a wealth of expertise applicable across many areas of healthcare.

Having held senior roles within the NHS, including Network Director, Programme Director and Nurse Consultant, Tim has a deep understanding of the complexities within both frontline and executive leadership.

His career spans a wide range of healthcare settings, giving him the ability to offer insightful, practical advice to organisations of all sizes.

Tim started his career as a Learning Disability nurse, and was a pioneer of the first wave of Nurse Consultants in 2000. He has since been recognised with awards for Delivering Safer Services and reducing self-harm on inpatient wards.

Tim is also a published expert, having both edited and authored chapters in The Handbook of Forensic Learning Disabilities. His research and contributions have shaped best practice, informed policy and deepened understanding of how to support vulnerable individuals.

Tim has competed in fifteen ironman triathlons across the UK and Europe, during which time he qualified for both half-ironman and full-ironman world championships. This experience shows his discipline, resilience and ability to keep going even when things get tough - skills he definitely brings to his consultancy work.
